Some of you are carrying things
no one can see.

And still showing up.
Still trying.
Still holding it together.

May this week remind you that
you don’t have to hold everything.
You’re allowed to soften here.

As I think about Dr. Cerina Fairfax,
I’m not only triggered, but reminded how real this is.

When I say Protect Black Women,
I don’t just mean physically.
I’m talking, emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually.

Too many Black women are n

Today doesn’t need everything from you.
Just your presence.
Just your breath.
Just your willingness to begin again.

Let today be enough.

Be gentle with yourself.
You’re unlearning survival.
You’re learning peace.
That takes time.
